Lavanya V Salian, a dedicated PhD student supervised by Prof. Samala Rathan, Faculty of Mathematics, Department of Humanities & Sciences at Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy, Visakhapatnam has received the “Best Presentation” award for the talk “A new central compact finite difference scheme with high spectral resolution for dispersive equations” in the conference “Latest Advances in Computational and Applied Mathematics (LACAM)-2024” hosted by “School of Mathematics, IISER Thiruvananthapuram” during February 21-24, 2024.
