Indian Institute of Petroleum & Energy (IIPE) recognizes Sponsored Research and Industrial Consultancy as the essential attributes of research and development. An office operating under PIC-RCC provides administrative and accounting support to the faculty undertaking sponsored research and consultancy work.

RCC plays a strong promotional role by bridging with industry and government organizations, providing IPR support and internal research grants to the faculty which will help both the IIPE and the sponsorship agencies through innovative cutting edge research.
