The Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy (IIPE), Visakhapatnam, hosted a comprehensive one-day training program on COMSOL Multiphysics on 21st August, 2025. The program was aimed at equipping students and researchers with hands-on experience in multiphysics simulation and modeling. The event brought together participants from various disciplines, eager to explore the capabilities of this powerful simulation software. The objective was to provide hands-on training in geometry creation, meshing, physics setup, and result visualization and encourage simulation-based problem-solving in petroleum and energy domains. The instructors were subject experts from COMSOL, Mr. Sharjad A. J, an experienced and driven Aeronautical Engineer, with expertise in Aerodynamics, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Heat Transfer, Propulsion, and Multiphysics applications and Mr. Skanda N Prasad with expertise in computational mechanics.
