Sri. S. Bharathan, Director, Refineries, HPCL, delivered the First IIPE Institute Lecture on 30.10.2024 entitled
“Role of Chemical Engineering in Changing Landscape of Energy”. Sri. Bharathan has traced the beginning and growth of chemical engineering and amply illustrated the significant role of chemical engineering in the daily life of every human. Sri. Bharathan strongly advocated the relevance of chemical engineering in the energy transition era. Sri. Bharathan interacted with the faculty and students on various domains of chemical engineering.
