Industrial Visit to BHEL HPVP Plant, Visakhapatnam

The Mechanical Engineering students of the Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy (IIPE) had the opportunity to visit the BHEL Heavy Plates and Vessels Plant (HPVP) in Visakhapatnam. This visit provided students with firsthand exposure to large-scale manufacturing and fabrication processes involved in producing heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and other critical components used in power and energy sectors. The students observed various stages of mechanical production, including welding, machining, and quality testing, gaining practical insights into industrial operations and engineering applications in real-world scenarios.
