About The Conference:

Library technologies and ways of providing services are changing rapidly due to technological advancement, and libraries must embrace new technologies to cater to digital technologies for Up-to-date services. Librarians can enhance their technical understanding to serve the patrons. The conference will provide a platform to identify the strengths and fill the gaps to provide a better Research Ecosystem, Library-Faculty Collaborations, and User-centric Services.
NEP-2020 has adopted multi-dimensional curriculums. It also emphasizes enhancing online accessibility of library books and further broad basing of digital libraries, strengthening all existing libraries. This conference will be a platform to discuss "how libraries can contribute to achieve the NEP-2020 visions."
The conference will be a platform to feed the hunger of library professionals for new ideas to incorporate the latest tools and technologies in libraries.
The conference will commemorate India's prestigious "G20 Presidency" and "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav."

About Institute

Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy (IIPE) Visakhapatnam is a newly established Institute by an Act of Parliament under MoPNG and declared as an Institute of National Importance. It is an educational and research Institute emphasizing teaching and research in emerging areas of the energy sectors. It is committed to producing skilled manpower to meet the quantitative and qualitative gap in the Petroleum and energy sectors and to boost the research activities needed for the growth of these sectors by nurturing and promoting the quality and excellence in education and research in various areas of petroleum and energy through the programs leading to the award of the Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral degrees.

The library is developing to support the teaching, learning and research of the Institute by providing necessary relevant, required current content along with archival demands of the patrons. It works as a bridge between the resources and the reader. It is committed to providing quality products and services to its patrons.
