About the program: The goal of the program is to cultivate skilled Mechanical Engineers who possess specialized Skills and knowledge required for energy industry. The program aims to provide students with a strong foundation in basic and applied Mechanical Engineering principles while fostering innovative thinking to address energy and environmental challenges. By participating in this program, students will develop the skills necessary to thrive in a rapidly evolving field that encounters various technological advancements. Throughout the course, significant emphasis will be placed on enhancing students' abilities to tackle complex technical problems in diverse interdisciplinary contexts.

About the program: Established in 2016, the Department of Petroleum Engineering at IIPE offers a dynamic four-year B.Tech program designed to prepare students for careers in the petroleum and energy sectors. The curriculum blends theoretical coursework with hands-on training, supported by state-of-the-art laboratories in reservoir simulation, drilling, and production engineering. Students can tailor their learning through a range of electives and gain industry exposure through internships at leading organizations like ONGC, OIL, Reliance, HPCL, and IOCL. The program is open to both Foreign and Indian nationals along with sponsored candidates, with an intake capacity of 20 seats. The objective of this program is to provide advanced education and training in the exploration, production, and management of hydrocarbon resources.
