Research Interest:
C. Veerabhadra Rao’s areas of interest include Distributed
Systems, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Fault Tolerance, Design and
Analysis of Algorithms.
His main focus in the Distributed Systems area is to design self-learning load balancing algorithms for the requests that need
multi-stage processing, and dynamically adapt the load
balancing to the capability changes of different service nodes.
He is also interested in designing a self-organizing swarm of
security robots to secure an object of interest.
He is also interested in finding the optimal HDFS block
placement strategies for a given constraint (expected reliability,
capacity, cost, etc.).
