The objective of this M.Tech. program is to provide advanced education and training in the extraction, production, and management of hydrocarbon resources.
- A 4-year B.Tech. / B.E. degree in Petroleum, Petrochemical, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
- Must have a first-class or minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CPI in the qualifying exam.
- For SC/ST students, a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CPI is required.
- Valid GATE score is required.
- A 4-year B.Tech. / B.E. degree in Petroleum, Petrochemical, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering, Civil Engineering or an M.Sc. in Geology/Geophysics.
- Must have a first-class or minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CPI in the qualifying exam.
- For SC/ST students, a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CPI is required.
- A No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the sponsoring organization/industry must be submitted at the time of the interview.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or a Master's degree in appropriate Sciences with a good academic record.
- Must submit a Statement of Purpose (SOP), letters of reference, and work experience (if applicable).
- International students with a UG degree from India must have a valid GATE score or undergo an online interview.
- The Department/School/Centre may impose additional admission requirements.
Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria are required to appear for an interview conducted by the department.
Note: No monthly Stipend will be provided
