Dr. C. Veerabhadra Rao Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering

Dr. C. Veerabhadra Rao’s areas of interest include Distributed Systems, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Fault Tolerance, Design and Analysis of Algorithms.

His main focus in the Distributed Systems area is to design self-learning load balancing algorithms for the requests that need multi-stage processing, and dynamically adapt the load balancing to the capability changes of different service nodes.

He is also interested in designing a self-organizing swarm of security robots to secure an object of interest.

 He is also interested in finding the optimal HDFS block placement strategies for a given constraint (expected reliability, capacity, cost, etc.).
